It's been an interesting few days.
Last week, Chris pulled one of his delusional moves. In a nutshell, he phoned out of the blue (ambushed me) alluding to lawyers and it came down to him wanting the house back. He must know he completely screwed up and now needs to make it look like he is the good guy. However, I know him too well, saw through what he was attempting and of course he couldn't get the money together to pay me back the money I borrowed (with interest) to give to him in the first place so he could go and "be a welder" in Florida. That was the only way I would even consider it. What a pipe dream on his part!
But it was unsettling as I had hoped never to have to deal with him again. I had to laugh, though when he suggested that I was angry because I want to get back together with him. Now that is totally delusional!
Anyway, once that was out of the way, I was able to enjoy the beautiful weather we were having, with temperatures in the 70s and those classic Northwest days where the air is crisp and clean and you feel you can see forever. Which...didn't last long. We had the most amazing almost tropical storms with thunder and lightning and torrential downpours. And now it is down in the 60s again, mid-summer, 10 degrees lower than normal, gray and misty. This was not on my brochure.
But I'm keeping busy, getting Bill's stuff on eBay and craigslist, but so far, without too much success. As they say in real estate, it only takes one buyer. You just have to find the right one, and so far we haven't.
Also been working at the Hydration Station in Port Townsend, the Kangen water outlet, to hopefully build that business.
My little camera is a gem. I only wish I had been able to get it sooner. So easy to use and produces amazing quality images. The problem is, I shoot too many, and then have to edit which takes ages! And I shot some video yesterday of Jim playing drums with the jazz band at the Port Townsend Farmers Market. Now I have to learn to edit that!
So you can see, I am keeping busy.
